Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4750mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling high-load cavity wall openings. Its robust design and galvanised finish ensure dependable performance on structural projects where reliability is critical. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required and not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is purpose-built for cavity walls with a 110-125mm gap and inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is ideal for supporting heavy masonry loads in commercial or residential developments, especially where large openings demand extreme load-bearing capacity. The lintel must be laterally restrained with minimum 200mm end bearing supports and appropriate inner-to-outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1 to perform as specified.
