The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4450mm is designed for builders and site managers working on heavy-duty structural projects. It offers reliable support for cavity walls with a 110-125mm cavity and 110-115mm inner leaf, making it a dependable choice when strength and durability are paramount. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for load-bearing cavity wall openings in commercial and residential construction where extreme loading conditions apply. It is commonly used above large window and door openings, supporting substantial masonry loads while maintaining structural integrity. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing to meet the specified load ratios, ensuring safety and compliance on site.
