The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors tackling heavy structural demands on cavity walls. Measuring 3850mm, it offers reliable support where strength and durability are critical. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be incorporated during installation to ensure proper moisture resistance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls with thicknesses between 110-125mm, paired with an inner leaf of 110-115mm. It’s commonly specified for commercial and residential projects requiring exceptional load-bearing capacity, such as openings over large windows, doors, or heavy masonry. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with at least 200mm bearing at each end to perform as designed.
