The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered specifically for demanding structural applications where high load capacity is essential. Suitable for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 110-125mm cavity walls, this lintel offers reliable performance and durability to support serious projects. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure moisture protection.

This lintel is used in cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is required, such as in commercial or multi-storey residential developments. Its design supports inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm and is ideal for openings requiring substantial structural support. It is particularly suited to projects where lateral restraint and end bearing supports are specified, ensuring safe and compliant installation.

The lintel is available in standard increments of 50mm up to 6600mm length and can be supplied with expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate as an optional extra. To achieve the specified load ratings, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained with minimum 200mm end bearing supports and maintain inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
