The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3550mm is engineered for demanding construction projects requiring exceptional strength and reliability. Ideal for builders and site managers working with cavity walls between 110-125mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm, this lintel ensures structural integrity under heavy loads. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity walls where extreme loading conditions exist, such as in large commercial developments or high-load residential projects. It provides critical support over openings like doors and windows, distributing weight safely across the cavity and inner leaf. To maintain performance, it requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied to enhance plaster keying on site.
