The Catnic CXL310 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding construction projects where maximum load-bearing capacity is essential. Suitable for builders, site managers, and contractors working with 110-125mm cavity walls and inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm, this lintel combines robust steel construction with a protective galvanised finish to ensure lasting performance on site. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to prevent moisture ingress.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting heavy loads over openings in cavity walls, including large window and door frames on residential and commercial developments. Its structural grade steel design provides reliable strength for serious building projects, requiring 200mm end bearing supports and lateral restraint to achieve optimal load ratios. Contractors can specify optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced mortar keying where needed.
