The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where high load-bearing capacity is essential. Perfectly suited for builders, contractors, and site managers working on substantial cavity wall constructions, this lintel delivers the strength and reliability your project requires. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required on site as this is not included with the lintel.

This lintel is designed specifically for use in cavity walls with widths between 110mm and 125mm, and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It supports heavy masonry loads such as large window and door openings, ensuring structural integrity on commercial and residential builds. Its robust construction makes it ideal for projects where extreme load conditions must be met, including multi-storey developments and load-bearing walls.

For optimum performance, lintels must be laterally restrained with 200mm end bearing supports. Inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1. As a reminder, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure full protection against moisture ingress.
