Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3400mm is engineered for trade professionals tackling heavy structural loads in cavity wall applications. Built from high-grade steel with a robust galvanised finish, it ensures strength and longevity on serious building projects. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to prevent moisture ingress.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings in cavity walls where extreme load-bearing capacity is required, such as large window or door spans in residential or commercial developments. It suits cavity widths between 110mm and 125mm, with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. The lintel must be installed with lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings.
