Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3300mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural openings. Its robust design and high-grade steel construction make it ideal for heavy load-bearing cavity wall applications where reliability and durability are essential. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required to be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity walls with a cavity width between 110mm and 125mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110mm to 115mm. It supports significant structural loads in residential and commercial projects, commonly used above large window or door openings where extreme load capacity is critical. To achieve the specified load ratings, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained with at least 200mm end bearing supports and maintain inner to outer load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
