Details

The Catnic CXL310 is a heavy-duty extreme load cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on substantial structural projects. Measuring 3150mm in length, it is ideal for cavity walls between 110 and 125mm with inner leaves of 110 to 115mm. Supplied with a robust post galvanised finish, this lintel offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term reliability on site. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) is required during installation.

Application

This lintel is engineered to support extreme loads in cavity wall construction, making it suitable for commercial and residential developments where structural strength is critical. It is typically used to span openings such as doors and windows within cavity walls, ensuring stability and compliance with building regulations. Its design allows for lateral restraint and requires 200mm bearing at each end for optimal performance. Contractors can also opt for an expanded metal mesh attachment to enhance base plate protection.
