The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered specifically for demanding structural applications where reliability and strength are paramount. Ideal for builders, site managers, and contractors working on cavity walls between 110mm and 125mm, this lintel offers secure support for heavy loads while ensuring long-term performance on site. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be incorporated during installation to maintain building integrity.

Application

This lintel is suited to cavity wall constructions with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm and cavity widths of 110-125mm. It is designed to carry extreme loads in both residential and commercial projects, such as supporting masonry above large openings or structural walls. Correct installation requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to meet load capacity specifications. The lintel can also be supplied with optional expanded metal mesh for enhanced stability at the base plate.
