The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2250mm is engineered for builders and site managers requiring robust support in cavity wall construction. Ideal for demanding structural projects, this lintel offers exceptional strength and corrosion resistance, making it a dependable choice for serious contractors. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed as part of the build.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 110-125mm gap and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is suited to heavy load-bearing openings such as large window and door apertures in residential or commercial developments. Its structural grade steel construction ensures it can safely carry extreme loads when installed with the required 200mm end bearing supports and lateral restraints. Contractors can also opt for lintels fitted with expanded metal mesh for enhanced masonry bonding.
