Catnic CXL290 extreme load cavity wall lintel, 6400mm (21ft) length for substantial structural support.
Designed for 90-105mm cavity walls with 110-115mm inner leaf thickness.
Constructed from Grade S275 structural steel, post-galvanised for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Supplied with a universal beam section and 6mm steel plate, built to BS EN10025:2004 standards.
Separate flexible DPC must be installed on site during construction.

The Catnic CXL290 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for heavy structural applications, ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on demanding projects. With a length of 6400mm, it provides reliable support for cavity walls with specific thickness requirements. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is suited for use in cavity walls with a 90-105mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is designed to bear extreme loads where high structural integrity is essential, such as in commercial, industrial or large residential developments. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm end bearing for optimal performance. It is commonly used above openings like doors and windows where heavy brickwork or blockwork loads are present.
