The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered to support demanding structural loads in cavity wall construction. Perfect for builders, contractors, and site managers working on projects with heavy load requirements, this lintel combines robust materials and precision engineering to ensure reliability and long-term performance. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed on site as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity walls with a cavity width of 90-105mm and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is ideal for supporting heavy masonry above openings such as large window or door spans in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing to achieve specified load capacities. Its high load-bearing capacity makes it suitable for projects where structural integrity is critical, including multi-storey developments and heavy masonry facades.
