Details

The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding construction projects where high structural loads are expected. Suitable for use by builders, contractors, and site managers, this 6000mm lintel supports cavity walls with dimensions between 90-105mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for heavy-duty cavity wall applications, particularly in developments requiring extreme load-bearing capacity. It is well suited for commercial and residential projects where structural integrity is critical. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end. Additionally, the inner to outer leaf load ratio should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1 to meet the specified load ratings.
