The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5800mm length is engineered for demanding structural applications where heavy loads must be safely supported. This robust lintel is ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with standard inner leaf thicknesses, providing reliable performance and long-term durability thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

Application

Specifically designed for cavity walls with a 90-105mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm, the CXL290 lintel is commonly used in commercial and residential developments requiring extreme load-bearing solutions. It is suitable for heavy masonry and structural brickwork where standard lintels would not provide sufficient strength, such as multi-storey buildings or heavy cladding supports.
