Details

The Catnic CXL290 is a high-capacity cavity wall lintel engineered for projects requiring extreme load support. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on robust masonry structures, this lintel offers reliable strength and corrosion resistance thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

Application

Specifically designed for cavity walls with a 90-105mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, the CXL290 lintel provides structural support over wide openings in load-bearing walls. It’s suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial builds where heavy masonry loads are present. Ensure the lintel is laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to meet load-bearing requirements.
