The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors handling demanding structural projects. Its robust design and durable galvanised finish make it ideal for cavity walls with 90-105mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaves, ensuring dependable support where heavy loads are expected. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings in high-load bearing cavity walls, providing critical structural support for brickwork, blockwork, and other masonry above. It is well suited for commercial and residential developments where extreme load capacity is essential. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and installed with a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end to maintain its load performance.
