The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and site managers handling heavy structural loads. Measuring 5400mm in length, it’s tailored to fit cavity walls of 90-105mm with inner leaf thicknesses between 110-115mm. This lintel combines robust construction with corrosion protection, making it a reliable choice for demanding projects. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure durability.

Application

Ideal for use in structural openings such as large windows and doorways within cavity walls where extreme load capacity is required. The lintel supports both inner and outer leaf masonry, making it well suited to commercial and residential developments with heavy brick or blockwork above. Its design ensures stability where lateral restraint and substantial end bearing (minimum 200mm) are achievable on site.
