The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5350mm length is engineered to provide outstanding structural support for demanding cavity wall builds. Ideal for builders, contractors and site managers working with 90-105mm cavity walls and inner leaves of 110-115mm, this lintel combines strength and corrosion resistance to reliably carry heavy loads on serious projects. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is required. It is commonly specified for commercial and residential developments needing robust support over large openings such as windows and doors. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing to meet load capacity requirements. It is suitable for inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1, making it ideal for heavy structural demands.
