The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5150mm is engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. Its robust design suits cavity walls of 90-105mm with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be installed on site during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

This lintel is ideal for heavy load-bearing applications in cavity wall construction, particularly where high structural demands are placed on openings such as large window or door frames. It provides reliable support in residential and commercial builds, ensuring the integrity of the masonry above is maintained under extreme loads.

For optimal performance, the lintel must be laterally restrained with minimum 200mm end bearing supports. Inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate upon request.
