Details

The Catnic CXL290 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel engineered for demanding structural applications. Ideal for builders and site managers working on cavity walls with thicknesses between 90-105mm and inner leafs of 110-115mm, it offers reliable strength and corrosion resistance thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be incorporated during installation to ensure building integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for heavy-duty cavity wall construction where high load-bearing capacity is required, such as multi-storey residential or commercial developments. It supports masonry above openings like windows and doors, maintaining structural stability under extreme load conditions. To meet load specifications, ensure lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm end bearing support are provided on site.
