The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural requirements. At 5050mm in length, this lintel is ideal for cavity walls between 90-105mm, with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, delivering dependable support where heavy loads are expected. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure proper damp proofing.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity wall construction where extreme loading conditions apply, such as multi-storey buildings or commercial developments. It requires a minimum 200mm end bearing and must be laterally restrained on site to achieve the specified load capacities. Typical projects include large openings over windows and doors in masonry walls that demand enhanced structural integrity.
