The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4700mm length is engineered specifically for builders and contractors working on demanding structural applications. Its robust design and high-quality galvanised finish ensure dependable performance in cavity walls with inner leaf thickness between 110 and 115mm. Please note, a separate DPC must be fitted during installation as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting heavy masonry loads in cavity walls with a cavity width ranging from 90 to 105mm. It is commonly used in commercial and residential developments where extreme load-bearing capacity is required, such as multi-storey buildings or load-bearing walls in structural frameworks. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum of 200mm end bearing support to meet loading specifications.
