The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4500mm length is engineered for demanding structural applications where heavy loads must be supported reliably. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 90-105mm and inner leaves of 110-115mm, this lintel offers robust performance with proven durability thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed alongside this lintel during build.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity wall construction where extreme loading conditions apply, such as large openings or heavy masonry above. It provides dependable lateral restraint and requires a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to ensure load distribution. Typical uses include commercial and residential developments with structurally demanding lintel requirements, supporting brickwork or blockwork where strength and reliability cannot be compromised.
