The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4350mm is engineered for demanding building projects where high load capacity is essential. Ideal for builders, contractors, and structural engineers working with medium cavity walls, this lintel delivers dependable support and long-term durability. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed as part of the build, and images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 90-105mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is perfect for use in projects where walls must bear extreme structural loads, such as commercial buildings, multi-storey developments, and heavy masonry construction. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its full load capacity. For enhanced stability, inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1.
