The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 4200mm, offers a reliable solution for projects demanding high structural capacity. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm, this lintel combines strength with corrosion protection. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure proper damp proofing.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered for heavy-duty cavity wall applications where increased load-bearing is required, such as large openings or structural walls in residential and commercial builds. It suits cavity widths of 90-105mm and inner leafs of 110-115mm. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve the specified load capacities. Optionally, it can be supplied with expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced mortar keying.
