The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural projects requiring exceptional strength and durability. Perfect for builders and site managers working with cavity walls between 90 and 105mm, this 3700mm lintel offers reliable support where heavy loads are involved. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed as this is not included.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity wall construction with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is suited to heavy load-bearing situations such as commercial buildings, large residential developments, and other structural frameworks where extreme load capacity is essential. To ensure optimal performance, the lintel requires lateral restraint and end bearing supports of at least 200mm. It’s also compatible with optional expanded metal mesh for added base plate reinforcement.
