Manufactured from Grade S275 structural steel with post-manufacture hot-dip galvanising for superior corrosion resistance.
Designed to carry extreme loads with lateral restraint and 200mm minimum end bearing support.
Note: A separate flexible DPC must be installed on site; lintel supplied without DPC or mesh unless specified.

The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is a specialist structural component engineered for demanding building projects where heavy loads need reliable support. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 90-105mm wide and inner leaves of 110-115mm, this lintel offers strength and durability that can be trusted on serious developments. Please note a flexible DPC must be installed separately during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

This lintel is specifically designed for use over large or heavily loaded openings in cavity walls, such as doorways and wide windows, where standard lintels may not suffice. It provides robust support for masonry above, accommodating significant structural weight. Its universal beam section combined with a 6mm structural steel plate makes it ideal for new builds and refurbishment projects requiring extreme load capacity.

The product is supplied without a damp proof course (DPC); a flexible DPC must be installed separately on site. Expanded metal mesh is an optional extra and is not included unless specified.
