The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where reliability and strength are paramount. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls between 90mm and 105mm wide, this 2650mm lintel offers robust support for heavy loads. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is suited for use in cavity wall construction where significant load-bearing capacity is required, such as multi-storey residential or commercial developments. It is designed to span openings in masonry walls while supporting substantial structural loads, provided it is laterally restrained and installed with adequate 200mm end bearing supports. Typical projects include load-bearing lintels over windows, doors, and other wall openings in brick or block cavity walls.
