Details

The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered to provide robust support for demanding masonry openings. Ideal for builders and contractors working with 90-105mm cavity walls and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness, this lintel delivers exceptional strength and durability where heavy loads are expected. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction, as it is not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is suited to structural openings in cavity walls where extreme loading conditions apply, such as large window or door spans on residential or commercial developments. It requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm end bearing to ensure full load capacity. The lintel also accommodates inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1, making it reliable for a variety of cavity wall configurations on site.
