Details

The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2100mm is engineered for builders and contractors handling demanding structural projects. Built to support heavy loads over cavity walls sized 90-105mm, this lintel combines strength and corrosion resistance with a post-galvanised finish. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to ensure proper moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity wall construction where inner leaf thickness ranges between 110-115mm. It is ideal for projects requiring extreme load-bearing capacity, such as commercial buildings or large residential developments. To achieve the specified load ratings, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained and provides at least 200mm bearing at each end. It can also be supplied with optional expanded metal mesh for additional base plate reinforcement.
