The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors demanding superior strength and durability in cavity wall construction. At 6200mm long, this lintel is crafted to support substantial structural loads across wider openings, making it an excellent choice for serious projects where reliability is critical. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting masonry over openings in cavity walls with a cavity width of 70-85mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Commonly used on commercial and residential builds requiring extreme load-bearing capacity, the lintel provides dependable structural support for brickwork, blockwork, and other heavy materials. It is essential that the lintel is laterally restrained on site and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing to meet loading specifications.
