The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is designed for demanding structural applications where heavy load-bearing capacity is essential. Ideal for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with 70-85mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness, this lintel combines strength and corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to ensure effective moisture protection.

Application

Specifically manufactured to support extreme loads in cavity wall constructions, the CXL265 lintel is suitable for large openings and critical structural points in residential and commercial builds. It’s commonly used in projects requiring robust steel support over windows and doors where heavy masonry or blockwork is present. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and installed with at least 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its full load capacity.
