The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5400mm is engineered for demanding structural applications where heavy loads must be safely supported. Ideal for builders, contractors and site managers working on cavity walls with a 70-85mm cavity and inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm, it offers robust reliability on serious projects. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed alongside this lintel.

Application

This lintel is perfect for use in cavity wall construction requiring high load-bearing capacity, such as large openings in residential or commercial developments. It is suitable for supporting brickwork or blockwork above windows and doors where extreme loading conditions apply. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing to ensure optimal performance.
