Designed for 70-85mm cavity walls and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness.
Manufactured from Grade S275 structural steel with a post galvanised finish for corrosion resistance.
Supports heavy loads with lateral restraint and 200mm end bearing; inner to outer load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
Note: Separate flexible DPC must be installed; optional expanded metal mesh available; standard increments in 50mm steps.

The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5250mm is engineered for contractors and developers tackling heavy structural openings in cavity wall constructions. Its robust design and galvanised steel finish make it a reliable choice for projects requiring high load capacity and long spans. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting heavy loads over large cavity wall openings with a cavity width of 70-85mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Typical uses include commercial and residential developments where extreme loading conditions apply, such as large window or door openings, or where structural integrity is paramount. It requires lateral restraint and minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load capacities.
