The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications, offering robust support for cavity walls with a 70-85mm cavity and 110-115mm inner leaf. Ideal for builders and contractors handling heavy masonry loads, this lintel combines strength with corrosion resistance, making it a reliable choice for serious construction projects. Please note, the lintel is supplied without a DPC, which must be fitted separately during installation.

Application

This lintel is suited to high-load cavity wall openings where a strong, durable support is essential. It is commonly used in residential and commercial developments requiring lintels capable of bearing extreme structural loads. The product must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings. It is also recommended for use where inner to outer leaf load ratios fall between 5:1 and 19:1.
