The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4500mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling projects with demanding structural requirements. Its robust design and galvanised finish provide dependable support for cavity walls with inner leafs between 110-115mm and cavities from 70-85mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to maintain building integrity.

Application

Specifically designed for heavy-duty cavity wall construction, this lintel supports substantial loads above openings such as doors and windows. It’s perfect for commercial or residential developments where structural reliability is critical. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its full load capacity. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied for additional base plate reinforcement if needed.
