The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4400mm length is engineered for demanding structural projects requiring superior strength and durability. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with heavy load requirements, this lintel offers reliable performance and corrosion protection through its galvanised finish. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to maintain moisture barriers.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a cavity width of 70-85mm and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It supports extreme load conditions where high structural integrity is essential, such as in commercial developments or heavily loaded residential builds. The lintel must be laterally restrained and have a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings. Optionally, expanded metal mesh can be fixed to the base plate to enhance plaster keying.
