The Catnic CXL265 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. Its 4300mm length and rugged design make it a dependable choice when working with cavity walls measuring 70-85mm and inner leafs of 110-115mm. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required during installation, and images are for illustration only.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for supporting heavy loads over cavity wall openings such as large windows or doorways where enhanced structural integrity is critical. It’s commonly used on commercial and residential developments where the inner leaf thickness falls within the 110-115mm range, and cavity widths are between 70-85mm. To meet load specifications, the lintel must be laterally restrained with minimum 200mm bearing at each end, making it ideal for serious structural builds.

Remember, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture control and lintel longevity.
