The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4250mm length is a specialist structural lintel designed for demanding building projects. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls, it offers outstanding strength and durability where heavy loads are expected. Please note, the lintel requires a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) to be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is suited to cavity walls with a 70-85mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, commonly found in commercial and high-spec residential developments. It supports extreme loading conditions, making it suitable for wide openings such as large windows, doorways, and structural wall spans. Correct installation requires lateral restraint and minimum 200mm end bearing on solid supports to achieve full load capacity.
