The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications, ideal for builders, contractors and site managers working on substantial masonry projects. At 4050mm in length, this lintel offers reliable, heavy-duty support for cavity walls with 70-85mm cavities and inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure full compliance and performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is required. It is perfect for supporting above openings such as large window and door frames in residential or commercial buildings. The lintel must be laterally restrained with a minimum 200mm end bearing to achieve rated load capacities. It suits projects requiring robust structural integrity and corrosion resistance, thanks to its galvanised finish.
