This lintel is supplied with a durable post-galvanised finish and can be ordered with optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced bonding with masonry. To achieve the specified load capacities, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained with 200mm end bearings and maintain inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1. Remember, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction for optimal performance.
