Details

The Catnic CXL265 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for contractors and structural professionals requiring robust support over large openings. Ideal for cavity walls with inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm and cavity widths of 70-85mm, this lintel combines strength and corrosion resistance with its post-galvanised finish. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed on site, as this is not included.

To ensure the lintel achieves the specified load capacity, it must be laterally restrained with minimum 200mm bearing at each end and inner-to-outer leaf load ratios maintained between 5:1 and 19:1. As a reminder, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction. This lintel is supplied without a DPC.
