The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3000mm length is a specialist structural component designed for contractors and site managers working on demanding masonry projects. Its robust construction and galvanised finish make it a dependable choice for cavity walls with inner leaves between 110-115mm and cavities from 70-85mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during build.

Application

This lintel is engineered for use in heavy-duty cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is required. It is suitable for new builds and refurbishment projects involving block or brick inner leaves within the specified thickness range. The lintel supports openings such as windows and doors, ensuring structural integrity when substantial loads are present above. To perform optimally, it requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end.
