The Catnic CXL265 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors who require robust structural support for demanding cavity wall applications. At 2900mm length, it is ideal for openings in walls with a 70-85mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. This lintel offers reliable strength and durability, making it a dependable choice for serious construction projects. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

Application

Specifically designed for use in cavity wall construction where heavy loads are present, the CXL265 lintel provides critical support for lintel openings such as windows and doors. Its high load capacity suits commercial and residential buildings with substantial structural requirements. To achieve the specified load ratings, the lintel must be laterally restrained and bear on supports of at least 200mm at each end. It is also important to maintain inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1 for optimal performance.
