The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors handling demanding structural projects. Its robust design supports heavy loads in cavity walls with 70-85mm cavities and thicker inner leaves, making it a reliable choice for serious construction work. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

This lintel is suited for load-bearing cavity wall openings where extreme loading conditions apply, such as large window or door spans in commercial or residential developments. It provides essential support across cavity walls with inner leaf thicknesses between 110 and 115mm, ensuring structural integrity under heavy weight. Type

Extreme load cavity wall lintel

Lintels are manufactured in standard increments of 50mm up to 6600mm overall length. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate on request. To achieve specified load capacities, lintels must have minimum 200mm end bearing supports and be laterally restrained with inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
