Details

The Catnic CXL265 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications, ideal for builders, contractors and site managers working on robust masonry projects. Supplied in a durable post-galvanised finish, this lintel combines strength and corrosion resistance to ensure reliability over the long term. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) is required to be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 70-85mm gap and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is suitable for use in heavy load-bearing situations where robust support is essential, such as lintelling large openings or supporting multiple courses of brickwork or blockwork. To achieve the stated load capacities, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end.
