The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is a specialist solution engineered for demanding structural applications where high load-bearing capacity is essential. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on substantial cavity wall projects, this lintel offers reliable performance with robust construction. Please note that a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure durability and compliance.

Application

This lintel is designed specifically for cavity walls with a 50-65mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It suits heavy-duty projects requiring extreme load support, such as multi-storey developments, commercial builds, and large residential structures. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with minimum 200mm end bearings to achieve its full load-bearing capacity. Optional expanded metal mesh can be fitted to the base plate to aid integration with masonry and improve stability on site.
