Details

The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for contractors and site managers handling heavy structural loads in cavity wall builds. At 6100mm long, this lintel offers robust support for openings in walls with 50-65mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf thicknesses. Please note, the lintel is supplied separately from any DPC, which must be installed on site according to best practice.

Application

Ideal for use in high-load bearing cavity walls on commercial or residential developments, the CXL240 lintel supports heavy masonry or brickwork above window and door openings. It is designed for use where extreme load capacity is required, ensuring structural integrity when properly installed with lateral restraint and adequate end bearing. The lintel can also be specified with an optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced plaster keying if needed.
